Women & Finances: Why should they take charge of their money

It’s great to witness women marching ahead in their respective careers with significant rise in gender diversity bridging wage gaps. Well, achieving your financial goals can bring clarity to your future prospects which is liberating. From managing household chores, meeting office deadlines to keeping their family together, women have the natural ability in management and responsibilities.
But when it comes to managing their money, studies and research reveal a different story. It says that most women rely on their male counterparts when it comes to financial planning. Multiple surveys also reveal that “women do not feel confident in managing their money”. They like to seek help from a male figure to deal with their finances. As we continue to discuss this topic with diverse opinions one of our colleagues highlighted her experiences with managing her money. She has some interesting insights.
